La Piadineria

Founded in 1994, it is Italy’s largest fast-casual restaurant chain, with a network of 530 restaurants located in the most important Italian cities and a rapidly expanding presence in France. La Piadineria is also the fastest-growing fast-casual food chain: it closed 2025 with nearly 80 new openings, with the same number planned for 2026.

The concept offered in La Piadineria restaurants is based on a range of over 30 types of piadina, prepared using dough entirely produced at the company’s facility in Montirone (Brescia), according to the company’s exclusive original recipe. Today, La Piadineria serves an average of 85,000 piadine every day, cooked and filled by hand on the spot according to each customer’s request, using always-fresh ingredients purchased from Italian suppliers to ensure the highest product standards.

La Piadineria currently has nearly 4,000 employees, a number expected to grow by at least 600 new resources every year. Investment in people, in terms of training and development from the moment they join the company, is strategic in supporting this pace of growth.

The internationalisation process began in 2017 in nearby France, where 14 restaurants are already operating, and continues in New York, where the first restaurant is already open.
